The XII International Economic Summit “Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021” will be Held on July 28-30

19 July 2021

KazanSummit is the main platform for the economic interaction between the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world.

For the first time, the International Economic Summit of Russia and the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held in 2009, creating a leading international platform for discussing the cooperation issues and implementing joint projects.

The main goal of KazanSummit is to establish cooperation and dialogue between Russia and the OIC member states in the economic, political and cultural spheres.

The Summit allows participants to achieve success in developing fruitful partnerships and establishing useful business contacts.

According to the regulations on the International Economic Summit “Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit”, the purpose of the summit is to strengthen trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties of the Republic of Tatarstan and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as to promote the development of institutions of the Islamic financial system in the Russian Federation.

This year the Halal Standard Committee organizes a round table on the accreditation of Halal certification bodies in the Russian Federation and in the OIC countries. The round table will discuss how Halal companies can enter international markets and how the certification bodies influence this process. The problems of the interaction between Russian and foreign certification bodies and accreditation bodies both in Russia and in the OIC countries would also be discussed.
