The importance of building closer partnerships with Russian colleagues

Malaysian Minister of Agriculture and Food Processing Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad bin Sabu pointed out the importance of building closer partnerships and reducing barriers, including political ones. “We agreed with our Russian colleagues to conclude a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the agricultural sector, which will increase the trade turnover of food products between the two countries on a mutually beneficial basis. I hope that the document will be signed before the end of this year and will create a reliable platform for ensuring access to food markets, including halal products,” he announced.
