The Course «The Halal Industry in Russia» has begun in Kazan

Today, within the advanced training courses «The Contemporary Issues of the Islamic Theology», the module «The Halal Industry in Russia: Certification and Accreditation» has begun with the participation of foreign and local specialists.

The courses are organized by the Russian Islamic Institute, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education.

With greetings and best wishes to the participants, the module was opened by the Deputy Mufti of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rector of the RII and KIU Rafik Mukhametshin.

As part of the module, the Chairman of the Halal Standard Committee Abbyas Shlyaposhnikov delivered a lecture on the topic «Modern Issues and Problems of the Halal Certification in Russia». The main concepts of the Halal industry and the problems of the Halal certification in Russia were voiced, and the attention was focused on the forbidden components in the production of Halal products. The principles on which the scientists of the Hanafi school of fiqh are based and which are described in the classic books on the Hanafi fiqh regarding Halal issues were revealed.

In addition, Ilgiz Bagautdinov, the head of the expert department of the Halal Standard Committee spoke in this module. He spoke on the topic «The Halal Food Certification Procedure». In the speech, the stages of the Halal certification were revealed, and the attention was focused on the control-critical points in the production of Halal products, requirements for the personnel, the equipment and the production process itself.

The courses will run from 25 to 29 October 2021. 

Classes will be held offline and online. 

Among the listeners are Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Chechen Republic, Kabardino-Balkaria, the Republic of Bashkortostan,  the Tyumen region and the Tambov region, Samara, Vladivostok, Crimea, Rostov etc.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of HAK (Turkey) Zafer Soylu, the Secretary General of SMIIC Insan Ovut, the Head of the Accreditation Department of Certification Bodies of BSCA N. Kravchenko and others take part in the work of the module.

Face-to-face classes are held at the address: Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan, Nursultan Nazarbayev st., 35a (Davydov hotel).

Online classes will be held in the format of videoconference in the ZOOM application.

At the end of the module participants will receive the certificates about the completion of refresher courses. The courses are aimed at improving the professional competencies of workers of religious organizations and teachers of educational institutions.
