The Chairman of the Committee spoke at a session organized Islamic Chamber of Halal Services (ICHS)
Chairman of the Halal Standard Committee of the Muslim Religious Board of the Republic of Tatarstan, Abbyas Hazrat Shlyaposhnikov, as part of the KazanForum business program, took part in the session “Focusing on the future: Standardization and regulation of Halal”, organized by the Islamic Chamber of Halal Services (ICHS) under the auspices of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA).
The session discussed international standards for halal production, issues of harmonization of national laws and regulations in the field of halal industry, and the importance of cooperation between key player countries. The speakers reviewed practical steps to improve the quality of halal products and confidence in them on the global market.
In his speech, Hazrat Abbyas raised the topic of halal convergence, which consists of combining prospects for the sustainable development of the halal industry. In his speech, the chairman recalled the versatility of the concept of “halal”, noted the dynamics of development of the global and Russian halal market, and also shared data on the successful formation of halal infrastructure in the Republic of Tatarstan and in Russia as a whole.
