Malaysian JAKIM Auditors Highly Appreciated the Work of the Halal Standards Committee of DUM RT

Experts from the Department of Islamic Development of Malaysia (JAKIM) visited the Halal Standards Committee of DUM RT as part of an audit to evaluate its quality system and overall performance.
The Malaysian delegation noted the high level of competence and professionalism of the committee’s specialists. During the meeting, social initiatives implemented by the committee were presented, along with its collaboration with governmental agencies and leading universities in the republic’s food industry sector.
Abbas Hazrat emphasized that the voluntary certification system of the Halal Standards Committee of DUM RT is based on Malaysian standards, whose implementation has played a crucial role in developing the system further. The committee actively adopts international best practices to enhance its processes, expand global partnerships, and improve the quality of halal production in Russia.
Committee specialists provided a detailed presentation of their work, stressing the importance of halal certification in ensuring consumer trust and industry growth. JAKIM auditors gave positive feedback on the committee’s contributions to halal standardization and international cooperation.
