Abbas Kadirov takes part in the VII World Halal Summit

6 December 2021

From 25 to 28 November, the VII World Halal Summit and the VIII Halal Expo of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) are being held at the Istanbul Congress Center. The slogan of the event: «New Norms of a New Era: the Indispensability of the Production and Consumption of Halal Products».

The goal of the summit is to popularize the Halal lifestyle, increase the volume of Halal production, open access to new markets and much more.

As a part of an important event for the entire Muslim community, experts considered topical issues of the Halal industry. On November 25, the summit participants gave an overall assessment of Halal infrastructure and discussed the future of tourism according to the canons of Islam. On November 26, they raised the topic of technology for the production of Halal food and also drew attention to an approach to the Halal economy and financing of participation.

On November 27, experts looked at the whole Halal lifestyle from different perspectives. KazanSummit Press Attach? Natalya Kuchumova made a presentation of KazanSummit 2021. The press attache concluded her speech with an invitation to the XIII International Economic Summit «Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit», which will be held on May 19-21, 2022.

In addition, the participants highlighted one of the sections on the narrower direction of the Halal industry — the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Also within the framework of the event, a new beginning was laid for Halal gelatin and testing.

«The previous Summit has established itself as a successful business platform for establishing new contacts and presenting economic opportunities and investment potentials of the participating countries. It is very important that during the pandemic, interaction with partners from Muslim states in the field of trade, economic and investment cooperation did not stop, but, on the contrary, progressed dynamically. The process of rapprochement between Russia and the countries of the Islamic world confirms the possibility of a successful partnership in the context of the formation of a multipolar world», said Marat Zyabbarov, one of the honored guests of the WHS in Istanbul.
