A Working Visit to the Kyrgyz Republic

The business delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan left for a working visit to the Kyrgyz Republic. The visit lasted 2 days: November 18th and 19th.

The delegation included Abbas Shlyaposhnikov, the chairman of our Halal Standard Committee. He participated in the following activities:

November the 18th

In the Big Hall of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.

The representatives of the «Avtomash-Radiator» and «Shydyr Zhol», the representatives of thelarge companies (including enterprises certified by our Committee) from the Republic of Tatarstan: «Kamaz», «NTZ», «TEM-PO», «Natural Health», «HarmonyStroy», «ElAZ» and others.

The participants discussed the trade between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan.

Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev noted that the Kyrgyz Republic highly appreciates the Kyrgyz-Russian partnership and plans to further strengthen ties with the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Tatarstan.

As a result, the parties exchanged views and specific proposals for the work on large investment projects.

Then the meeting was transferred to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic where, at the request of the head of the delegation, Albert Karimov, Abbas Shlyaposhnikov told those present about the Halal Lifestyle project.

Then the guests went to the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, where they watched a video presentation on the activities of the fund. During the meeting, mutually beneficial proposals from the delegates were announced.

Abbas Shlyaposhnikov also met with Deputy Mufti Zhorobay Azhy Shergaziev and Mars Ibraev, Vice-Rector of the Islamic University of Kyrgyzstan. The meeting began with a great greeting and respect sent from our Mufti, Kamil Samigullin, to the Mufti of Kyrgyzstan Zamir Azhy Rakiev. The participants discussed important points regarding the Halal certification and the development of the Halal industry in general. The Halal Department of the Spiritual Administrations of Muslims of the Kyrgyz Republic actively cooperates with the State Institution «The Center for the Development of the Halal Industry».

November the 19th

At the Business Forum «Kyrgyzstan-Tatarstan», with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Aziz Aaliev, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev, as well as large business circles of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation), the contact points were discussed between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tatarstan in terms of expanding trade, economic and investment contacts, which is aimed at strengthening relations between the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic. We signed three agreements.

  1. Cooperation Agreement between «Shydyr Zhol Key Dzhi LLC» and «KamAZ PJSC»;
  2. At the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, a memorandum of cooperation was drawn up between the State Institution «Center for the Development of Halal Industry» under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and the private institution for product quality control «Halal Standard Committee» of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan.
  3. Memorandum of Understanding between the Russian University of Cooperation and Bolashak LLC.

The visit ended with a reception on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, where Abbas Shlyaposhnikov was among the honored guests.
