7 things to do in Uraza Bayram

Parting with the month of Ramadan causes light sadness. The dear guest is leaving, who has given us 30 days of spiritual enlivening … But then Uraza-Bayram comes, so that we will give praise to the Creator for His mercy on Ramadan.

Uraza-Bairam – this is a visual completion of our post. It is known that after difficulties comes relief. And Allah rewards the efforts of those who fast with the feast of chatter.

This joy Muslims generously share with each other. The ethics of the celebration of Eid al-Fitr (Id al-Fitr) derives from the Prophet’s Sunnah (Peace be upon him) and determines what is desirable to accomplish during this period.

1.Festive night.

Meet the Holiday Eid al-Fitr better from the night. It is especially valuable, as well as the night before Kurban Bayram. Therefore, our Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: “He who revives both festive nights will not die in the day when hearts will die” (Abu Umamat).
Let us revitalize the hearts by namaz, reading the Qur’an, takbirs, dhikras, salavats to the Prophet (Peace be upon him), and also supplications to Allah.

2. External preparation for Bayram.

The house has already been washed down to shine and the whole feast has been prepared for loved ones and guests. Now it’s time for the usual hygiene – we enter Uraza-Bayram with bathing, smeared with incense (for women – only at home), in clean smart clothes. So, Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Prophet (Peace be upon him) wore a jubba (cloak), which he wore only on Eid and on Fridays”

3. Zakyatul-fitr.

This is the Sadaqah. It is paid from each family member, regardless of whether the person is fasting or not. It is believed that this charity clears away the mistakes made in the month of Ramadan. It is required.

The repayment period is from the dawn of the Festive day to the festive prayer. It is possible to distribute the fitr-sadak even before the onset of Bayram, at the beginning of the month of Ramadan or on the Festive Night.

The circle of recipients of Zakatul Fitr is specifically defined. Find out before you pay the fitr-sadak so that it gets to the address and would be valid.

4.Id-namaz

This is a festive collective prayer. It is held in mosques or other suitable places. For men, a visit to the Eid-namaz is very desirable, because The Prophet (Peace be upon him) did not let him pass. Under certain conditions, it can be done individually.

As for women, their presence in the mosque in the mosque is permissible, but, as expected, with modest behavior, the right appearance, without the use of perfumes and other means of attracting attention to oneself.

A light breakfast is recommended before the holiday namaz, preferably in the form of several dates. Al-Bukhari reports from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with them): “The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) did not go out on the morning of the holiday Eid al-Fitr until he ate several dates (an odd number).”

Another Sunna of the Eid-namaz is to go to the mosque one way and return the other.

5. Visit the cemeteries.

After the holiday prayer, Muslims are trying to give attention to the dead – they visit cemeteries. This is reminiscent of the finiteness of our path, the need for daily preparation of the soul to go to another world. Muslim quotes from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: “Visit the graves because they remind of death (about Judgment Day)”

For the dead, it is customary to read the verses from the Koran, to ask Allah for the forgiveness of their sins, and to ease the demand on the Day of Judgment.

6. Meet in your circle.

On Holiday it is very good to see relatives, if possible, to please them with gifts or treats. In case of impossibility, at least to call, write.

The exchange of greetings and greetings with neighbors, acquaintances, and friends is also welcome.

“Share gifts with each other. Gifts remove bad desires from hearts ”- as the Prophet taught, Peace be upon him. (At-Tirmidhi).

7. Visit those who need participation.

Giving attention to family and friends, let’s not forget about those who are alone, sick or deprived. If you know such people, give them a little of your time and warmth – congratulate, treat, help with something. It may seem small to us, but for them it is a special value.

“After doing the fardi, the deed with which the Almighty Allah is most pleased is to please the brother of a Muslim” (Suyuti, Al-Jamiou-s-Sagir, I, 11).

The more sincere our fasting in Ramadan was, the more we would like to decorate our Bayram with namaz, zikr, salavatas, and the joy given to others. May all this strengthen in our souls the taka – inspiration from the observance of religion.

And, maybe, then, by the Grace of the Creator, the outcome of our life will be similar to the bright outcome of Ramadan – the gracious Bayram … Amen.
