The International Economic Summit “Russia — Islamic World”: KazanSummit

It’s the main platform for economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world. For the first time the International Economic Summit of Russia and the countries participating in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held in 2009, creating a leading international platform for discussing issues of cooperation and implementation of joint projects.

The main goal of KazanSummit is to establish cooperation and dialogue between Russia and the OIC member countries in the economic, political and cultural sphere. The Summit allows participants to achieve success in developing a fruitful partnership and establishing useful business contacts. 

The purpose of the Summit is to strengthen the trade and economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties of the Republic of Tatarstan and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and to promote the development of institutions of the Islamic financial system in the Russian Federation.
