The Meeting with Businessmen from Indonesia

On December 20, a meeting with businessmen from Indonesia was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan with businessmen from Indonesia. An Indonesian deputy for the diplomatic mission arrived at the head of this delegation.

The meeting discussed the signing of a memorandum and the beginning of work with the certification center of Indonesia MUI. The representatives of Indonesia decided to organize a Russian-Indonesian business forum at KazanSummit, present their unique food products, marked ‘Halal’, at HalalExpo, and perform with famous fashion designers at the fashion show as part of KazanSummit.

And also the Indonesian entrepreneurs want to supply wheat and fertilizers from Russia. In return they suggested bringing tropical fruits to Russia at a price twenty times lower and developing tourism.

This year in Indonesia there were a lot of tourists from Russia not only in the popular resort of Bali, but in other famous Muslim regions, such as Lombok, Banyuwangi, Sumatra.

The meeting was also attended by the Export Corporation and the Association of Muslim Entrepreneurs of the Russian Federation.
