The management of the largest Halal certification company – FAMBRAS HALAL visited Tatarstan

Distinguished guests of the largest certifying organization FAMBRAS HALAL arrived in Kazan to get acquainted with the activities of the Halal Standard Committee.

The delegation represented by its President Mohammed Hussein al-Zaghbi, Executive Director Bassim Ali al-Zaghbi, and Head of the Foreign Relations Department Nizar al-Ghandur held several important meetings in the republic, got acquainted with the investment climate, as well as the activities of the Halal Standard Committee. In addition to working meetings, the guests were offered an extensive cultural program.

The delegation in the Republic of Tatarstan was accompanied by the Chairman of the Halal Standard Committee Abbyas Shlyaposhnikov.

During the three days of their stay in Tatarstan, the guests met with Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil Khazrat Samigullin, Rector of the Russian Islamic Institute Rafik Mukhametshin, head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan Taliya Minullina.

During their visit to the Committee, the guests shared their experience in working on international certification, spoke about the activities of their organization. In particular, they noted that the products certified by them are exported to 185 countries of the world (including the Russian Federation), have accreditation in countries that require certification bodies to pass them. An online product traceability system has been established, over 1,800 employees work in the organization, and they have existed in the service market for 43 years.

The organization, in addition to certification, is also involved in many charitable projects. For example, they built 37 mosques and Islamic centers in Brazil, thanks to which 1,000 families found jobs. The President of FAMBRAS HALAL, Mohamed Hussein al-Zaghbi, spoke about this at a meeting with the staff of the Committee.

During the stay of the guests in the Halal Standard Committee, issues of joint cooperation in the field of certification were identified, a roadmap for further actions was developed.

FAMBRAS HALAL Certification LTD is a company with more than 40 years of history, acting as a certification body for halal products in Latin America. All the know-how acquired during these years of work was initiated by the Federation of Muslim Associations of Brazil.
