The Halal Standard Committee held an Iftar for partners
In honor of World Halal Day, the Halal Standard Committee of The Muslim Religious Board of the Republic of Tatarstan organized an iftar for business partners. Heads of organizations certified by the Committee were invited to the event.
Mufti of Republic of Tatarstan Kamil Hazrat Samigullin and Chairman of the Council of Elders Airat Hazrat Ayupov acted as guests of honor.
Kamil hazrat Samigullin recalled the virtues of the month of Ramadan and worship during this period, after which he presented letters of thanks from The Muslim Religious Board of the Republic of Tatarstan and the The Committee addressed to the heads of enterprises: PE Zamaliev Yusuf Fangizovich (“InSaf”), LLC “Ecological Premium products”, PE Giniyatullin Ruslan Ayratovich (“ITLE”) and LLC “Kazan Dairy Plant”.
Chairman of the Council of Elders Airat Hazrat Ayupov spoke about the progress in fulfilling the task of expanding the coverage of preschool and school educational institutions with halal food.
An important part of the Majlis was the speech of the Chairman of the Halal Standard Committee of The Muslim Religious Board of the Republic of Tatarstan Abbyas Hazrat Shlyaposhnikov, in which he introduced the guests to the latest achievements of the organization. Among them:
- At the beginning of 2023, the Committee inspects 201 enterprises that operate under its brand and mark of conformity;
- Over 100 points of catering and restaurants are controlled by the Committee;
- The geography of the Committee covers 20 regions of Russia and Uzbekistan.
During the speech, a telegram bot was presented, designed to search for certified manufacturers, halal cafes and supporting documents (certificates).
At the end of the evening, Chairman Hazrat Abbyas Shlyaposhnikov thanked the partners for participating in the event and noted the importance of developing the halal industry.
Since 2013, World Halal Day has been celebrated annually in the Muslim world during the month of Ramadan. The initiator of the tradition is the World Halal Council (WHC). The Muslim Religious Board of the Republic of Tatarstan has been supporting this initiative for several years now.
