The discussion focused on advancing partnership following the successful accreditation of the Halal Standards Committee of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan (DUM RT) by JAKIM. This milestone paves the way for exporting Tatarstan’s halal products to Southeast Asia.
JAKIM (Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia, Department of Islamic Development Malaysia) is Malaysia’s state authority responsible for developing and overseeing halal standards. It is a global leader in halal certification, setting stringent requirements recognized in over 80 countries.
